Nature Walk in Honor of Earth Day

The Prospect Hill Park Advocacy Group will hold a nature walk in honor of Earth Day. This year's event is dedicated to the memory of two Waltham women who both served as Chair of the Waltham Conservation Commission, and who actively promoted the protection and enjoyment of Waltham's natural resources.

Patricia DiIeso and Susan Brown both passed away last fall, but their concern for and dedication to environmental protection will not be forgotten.

Walkers should meet at the rear gate to the park, off Prospect Hill Road, and expect to walk about an hour to an hour and a half. We will visit a vernal pool and look for signs of spring in the park. For more information call 781-894-9320.
